約翰福音3:16［神愛世人甚至將他的獨生子, 賜給他們, 叫一切信他的, 不至滅亡, 反得永生.］耶穌的降生表達一件事, 就是耶穌愛我們, 耶穌為我們甘心軟弱成為嬰兒, 也因著愛我們, 為我們死在十字架上. 而這一切, 就是叫我們不致滅亡, 反得永生. 並且使人在殘酷的世界中, 獲得真正的平安. 親愛的朋友, 今天是平安夜, 你的心中是否真正感到平安嗎？縱使生活中有許多困和挑戰. 但耶穌來到世上, 就是為了要替你背負一切的痛苦和重擔, 而不止如此, 耶穌也已經在十字架上勝過這一切. 因著耶穌, 曾經是敵對的可以和好, 不可能的也能成為可能. 我們對人生可以有完全不同的期待, 可以擁有有恆的生命, 也可以有真實的平安, 但願在今天這個平安夜, 你也能因著耶穌, 在今後每一天充滿平安與喜樂. 領受耶穌所賜的愛與溫暖, 對人生有全新的盼望與期待.
