哥林多後書5:17［若有人在基督裡, 他就是新造的人. 舊事已過, 都變成新的了.］所謂新造的人是指脫胎換骨, 還是重新啓動？ 是一次革命, 還是持續革命？是湯之盤銘所謂的”苟日新, 日日新, 又日新.” 還是康誥所謂的”作新民.” 本節金句應指藉著神的大能, 由上而下, 從內到外, 使自己成為作風一新之人. 也就是説給自己或別人重新開始的機會. 既然別人能原諒你, 你也可以原諒犯錯的人. 很多時候我們常常以自己的行為表現來判斷我們的價值與地位. 但聖經上説沒有任何事物能讓我們與上帝的愛隔絕. 上帝愛我們每一個人. 因著這樣的愛, 上帝藉著耶穌釘死在十字架上, 為我們的過犯, 一次性的買單, 使我們可以不再定罪自己, 也不再看自己的軟弱. 上帝愛我們這個人, 而勝過我們的表現. 上帝是有恩賜的天賦, 就像父母對待自己的兒女, 都有超乎常人的恩賜. 這個世界的標準與規範常常提醒我們的不完美. 但上帝的恩賜卻讓我們有新的出路, 能夠重新出發. 在上帝的愛裏, 使我們有重新改過的機會. 我們來到上帝的面前承認自己需要幫助, 並且邀請上帝進入你的生命. 上帝永遠都願意給你機會, 上帝會幫助你走上一條全新的道路, 人生必定可以重新開始.
“2 Corinthians 5:17 [Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!]. The term ‘new creation’ refers to a transformation, a rebirth, or a restart. Is it a one-time revolution or an ongoing revolution? Is it, as the saying goes, ‘If one constantly renews oneself, every day will be a new day,’ or is it what Confucius referred to as ‘creating a new people’? The key verse implies becoming a renewed person through the great power of God, from top to bottom, from the inside out—a chance to start anew for oneself or others. Since others can forgive you, you can also forgive those who make mistakes. Many times, we tend to judge our worth and status based on our behavior. However, the Bible says that nothing can separate us from the love of God. God loves each one of us. Because of this love, God, through Jesus, paid the price for our sins on the cross in one go, allowing us not to condemn ourselves and not to see our own weaknesses anymore. God’s love for us as individuals surpasses our performance. God has given us gifts and talents, just as parents have extraordinary gifts for their children. The standards and norms of this world often remind us of our imperfections. However, God’s gifts provide us with a new way out, allowing us to start afresh. In God’s love, we have the opportunity to repent and invite God into our lives. God is always willing to give you a chance and help you embark on a completely new path. Life can surely begin anew.”
