提摩太後書1:7［因為神賜給我們不是膽怯的心, 乃是剛強, 仁愛, 謹守的心.］剛強的靈, 叫我們有勇氣為真理爭戰. 仁愛的靈, 叫我們有負擔傳揚福音. 謹守的靈, 叫我們事奉工作中謙卑地倚靠神. 我們要有面對失敗的勇氣. 想贏先要認輸.輸了就輸了, 一個不敢接受失敗的人, 也沒有權利接受成功的機會. 正確的態度使失敗成為祝福. 失敗乃成功之母. 大衛在登上王位前, 也曾遇過非常的失敗, 當一般人抱怨怨逃避的時候, 大衛卻向上帝禱告説”上帝啊！求祢將祢的道指教我.” 大衛知道人生最大的依靠是上帝, 也只有上帝能夠指教他人生走在正確的方向. 並且修正他過往的失敗. 所以, 大衛選擇在上帝面前謙卑, 因此, 上帝説大衛是合神心意的人. 上帝也賜福給大衛, 使他成為以色列最偉大的君王. 很多問題良困難的發生, 很可能有一部份是環境造成的, 或者也許是別人的錯誤. 如果我們只是逃避, 埋怨, 或是怪罪他人. 對我們一點幫助也沒有. 而且, 相反的, 我們如果以謙卑的態度來到上帝的面前, 尋求祂, 上帝必能將我們過去的失敗, 轉變為祝福. 並引導我們走在蒙福的路上. 我們應以全新的眼光來看, 發生在我們身上的失敗與挫折, 當你願保持謙卑學習的態度, 上帝必會使你遇到的失敗成為最大的祝福, 使你人生邁入更寬濶的境界.
