維繫父母子女關係的祕訣—以弗所書6:2［要孝敬父母, 使你得福, 在世長壽. 這是一條帶應許的誡命.” 誡命就是命令的意思. 所以孝敬父母並不是一個道德勸說. 而是人生必定要做的事. 我們的父母並不完美, 就和我們自己不完美一樣. 子不嫌母醜, 女不嫌家貧. 只要有愛, 天下無不是的父母. 只要有愛, 天下也無不是的子女. 愛是關鍵, 財富與外在環境並不是必備的條件. 父母願意為子女犧牲, 同樣的子女也應有反哺父母之心. 聖經並没有説完美的父母才須要孝敬, 而是每一位兒女當做之事. 父母是怎麼樣的父母, 沒有關係, 在上帝眼中, 孝敬父母是做人非常重要並且寶貴的特質. 親愛的朋友, 父母是世上最先照顧我們, 保護我們的人. 是上帝放在我們生命中最珍貴的禮物與祝福. 孝敬並不是某些特定的行為, 而是打從我們心裡愛你的父母親時, 我們自然而然的就能帶出孝敬的行為與行動. 今天上帝要來祝福你與你父母的關係, 當你開始相信父母是一份珍貴的禮物時, 上帝必要賜給你一個新的信心, 愛心與盼望, 使你用愛的行動愛你的父母. 也許是一頓晚餐, 一個電話的問候, 都能開始改變你和父母的關係, 使你家充滿了愛的氛圍, 進而成為家中每一個人的祝福. 我的母親已離開我11年, 每當想到母親生前的恩情, 都會熱淚盈眶, 盼望有一天在天國與母親再相聚.
