愛能溫暖這世界—-約翰一書4:7-8［親愛的弟兄啊, 我們應當彼此相愛, 因為愛是從神來的. 凡有愛心的都是由神而生, 並且認識神, 沒有愛心的, 就不認識神, 因為神就是愛.］人性冷漠, 無論是提供幫助的可能性, 還是提供幫助的及時性, 都會隨著在塲人數的增加, 而迅速遞減. 這是一種旁觀者效應, 造成旁觀者集體的冷漠. 親愛的朋友, 現代人的生活步調快, 每天總有忙不完的事情. 也因此很容易忽略周遭人的需要. 往往要等到突發事件, 我們才意識到愛要及時. 我們在生活中, 必須更友善, 來對待身邊的人. 在聖經中記載, 有一天有一位律法師來問耶穌. 什麼是最大的誡命. 耶穌回答説, “你要盡心, 盡性, 盡意, 盡力, 愛主你的神.” 然後又話”其次, 愛人如己.” 從耶穌的回答可看出, 耶穌非常看重我們跟人的關係. 我們是否真誠的愛別人如同愛我們自己一樣. 所以有一位解經家便説, 愛是上帝對我們每一個人唯一的測驗. 我們不用很有成就來証明自己, 也不用遵守很多儀文規定來表現自己. 上帝只看我們對待親友, 甚至陌生人, 是否有愛心, 還是戒心. 親愛的朋友, 有人説愛是看見別人的需要以及自己的責任. 每一個人都是可給與愛的人, 而當我們願意付出愛在需要的地方, 這個社會自然會更加和協與美好. 今天願上帝將源源不絕的愛充滿你的心. 使你有能力將愛給予周邊的人, 關心這個社會的需要, 活出充滿愛的生活, 為這個世界帶來溫暖, 讓人真實看到愛的影響力. 愛人如己是上帝的誡命, 使我們向上提升. 己所不欲, 勿施於人是儒家所訂定的道德底綫, 使我們避免向下沈淪. 不論努力向上提升, 或避免向下沈淪, “博學, 審問, 慎思, 明辨, 篤行”均是不二法門. 目前全美Homeless無家可歸人數至少在60萬人以上, 洛杉磯已成為無家歸者的大本營. 這需要社會各界以集體的智慧與愛心共同面對如此嚴重的社會問題.教會或會眾也應發揮愛人如己的精神, 想方設法盡一己之力.

We don’t have to prove ourselves with great accomplishments, and we don’t have to obey a lot of rituals to express ourselves. God only sees us Treating relatives and friends, even strangers, whether there is love or wariness. Dear friends, some people say that love is seeing the needs of others and their responsibility. Everyone is a person who can give love, and when we are willing to give love when we need it In the place where you live, this society will naturally be more harmonious and beautiful. May God fill your heart with endless love today. Enable you to give love to those around you, care for the needs of this society, and live a life full of love , bring warmth to the world, and let people truly see the influence of love. It is God’s commandment to love others as yourself, which enables us to ascend. Doing what you do not want to do to others is the moral bottom line set by Confucianism. Let us avoid sinking downwards. No matter whether we strive to ascend upwards or avoid sinking downwards, “learning, interrogation, deliberation, discernment, and earnestness” are the only methods. At present, the number of homeless people in the United States is at least 600,000. , Los Angeles has become a homeless base. This requires all sectors of society to face such serious social problems with collective wisdom and love. The church or congregation should also exert the spirit of loving others as themselves, and try to do their best.
