讓自己活的快樂—-尼西米記8:10b[因靠耶和華而得的喜樂, 是你們的力量.]我們總不能等到人生不再艱難時, 才決定要活的快樂.  面對艱難, 仍要活的快樂.  我們不能讓艱難主宰我們的人生.  聖經中大衛王曾寫過一段詩篇4:7, 其中他對上帝説”你使我心裏快樂, 勝過那豐收五穀新酒的人.”  從詩句中, 我們看出大衛有極大的快樂, 但其實這首詩創作的背景, 並不是有什麼好事發生, 反而是大衛王在被自己的兒子押沙龍背叛追殺的時候所寫的.  明明是痛苦的時刻, 大衛王卻決定要活得快樂, 這當中的祕訣就在於他倚靠全能的上帝, 他的上帝是好神, 更是隨時幫助他的神.  親愛的朋友, 人生難免會有許多艱難的時刻, 但如果你的快樂是建立在環境的好壞上, 那麼你的心情必會時常上上下下.  時常感到失望.  但是當你倚靠上帝, 你將快樂建立在上帝身上.  那即便在艱難當中, 上帝也會給你力量, 使你心裏有超越環境的喜樂.  今天邀請你把所有的困難都交託給上帝, 上帝是那位永不改變, 永遠用笑臉幫助你的神, 只要你請求上帝的幫助, 並且相信上帝的權能, 上帝必會帶給你勝過你的處境, 使你得著任何環境都奪不走的喜樂.  快樂像噴泉, 喜樂像瀑布.  快樂通常是很淺顯的, 而喜樂總是深層次的.  快樂容易消失, 而喜樂往往長時間停留.  快樂經常圍繞物資及感官的刺激, 而喜樂則涉及心靈的提昇.  當我們以謙卑, 誠懇, 悔改和信心轉向主耶穌的那一刻, 上帝的喜樂就變成了我們的力量.

Joy often revolves around material and sensory stimulation, while joy involves spiritual upliftment. The joy of God becomes our strength the moment our faith turns to the Lord Jesus.
