人生不可或缺的力量—-羅馬書15:13［但願使人有盼望的神, 因信將諸般的喜樂, 平安充滿你們的心, 使你們藉著聖靈的能力大有盼望！］盼望是我們生命裡最大的力量之一, 也是我們最需要的一種生命品質. 我們人生都會有患難, 挫折, 打擊, 甚至意外. 但盼望叫人勝過人生的打擊和痛苦. 而在基督𥚃的盼望, 更是能將苦難轉化成祝福, 而這就是保羅所説的不會羞愧的盼望. 保羅説盼望的緣由就是基督. 而一個在基督裡的人, 總是活在盼望𥚃. 無論是對今生或是來世.腓立比書是保羅在監獄苦難中所寫的書信.雖然在苦難裡面, 他説弟兄們, 我願意你們知道, 我所遭遇的事, 更是叫福音興旺. 他說我的遭遇不是悲慘, 不是無奈, 不是痛苦, 不是不公平, 不是人家陷害我. 我的遭遇是叫福音興旺. 監獄鎖鍊不能鎖住保羅的心. 保羅有一種驚人的能耐, 就是在他身所發生的一切事情, 都看到正面的意義. 弟兄姊妹這才是我們生命最大的力量. 聖經中每一個成功的人物, 裡面都有這種能力. 約瑟即使被兄弟出賣為奴, 即使被下在監獄𥚃面, 經過一切的磨難, 他竟說上帝的意思是好的. 沒有事情能夠打敗他. 沒有什麼壞的事情, 在他眼中看來不是好事不是祝福. 作為基督徒, 我們就是有這一種的生命, 就是有這一種的能耐, 無論遭遇什麼都可以看到正面的意義, 所以保羅説我所遭遇的事是叫福音興望. 約瑟說我所遭遇的事, 是神有一個美麗並且更好的計劃. 求主把這一種正面解釋, 積極的力量, 放在我們裡面, 對基督徒來講, 每一件事情在神那𥚃, 都是好事, 都是我們的祝福, 都有正面的意義, 都能叫福音興望. 因此, 盼望是我們生命中最大的力量, 也是我們最需要的生命品質.
