To others, patience and tolerance are to accept the treatment of others. Only by being humble can you be tolerant, and by being meek can you be patient. Meekness is the natural result of humility. A meek person will be patient. Meekness means being gentle and obedient, without quarreling with others, Matthew 5:3 [ Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.] Gentleness is a kind of wisdom and strength. The power brought by gentleness can directly touch the heart. There is a paralytic in the Bible. When Jesus came to his village, Four of his friends carried him to Jesus in order to get him healed. During the process, the house where Jesus was was crowded with people, and there was no room for the four friends to walk and carry him.
