穿上新衣—-提多書2:14［他為我們捨了自己, 要贖我們脫離一切罪惡, 又潔淨我們, 特作自己的子民, 熱心為善.］一個樸實的農夫與體弱多病的妻子及一位不肖的兒子同住, 他的兒子酗酒好賭. 有一天, 兒子在賭場打死了一個賭客, 全身沾染了血跡跑回家, 脫去血衣換上乾淨的衣服後, 匆忙的逃走躲避警察的追捕. 當警察來到家中時, 農夫竟穿上兒子的血衣, 警察將他逮捕了. 後來農夫被判處死刑. 在槍斃之前, 農夫寫了一封信給兒子”今天我穿上你的血衣, 要被槍斃, 替你受死, 我並不後悔. 但是我希望你能穿上我農夫的衣服, 重新做一個正直的人, 為我工作, 孝順你的母親.” 不肖的兒子看完這封信後, 心如刀割, 從來此痛改前非, 為他父親而活. 做－個正直的農夫, 忠心侍候母親. 我們是否脫去舊衣穿上主所賜的新衣？主耶穌為我們的罪而死, 如今我們是否為主而活. 是否遵行祂的話語呢？讓我們一起禱告：親愛的主耶穌, 感謝讚美祢, 祢是我們的救主. 本來該受罪的審判和刑罰是我們. 但祢為了愛, 甘願背負我們罪的重擔, 走上十字架, 受盡凌辱痛苦, 完成上帝的使命. 天父啊！我們願意來到祢的面前, 接受祢的救贖, 成為新造的人, 遵行祢的道, 活出新的生命, 榮神益人. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 誠心所願. 阿們！

When the police came home, the farmer actually put on his son’s bloody clothes, and the police arrested him. Later, the farmer was sentenced to death. Before being shot, the farmer wrote a letter to his son, “Today I am wearing blood.” I have no regrets about wearing your bloody clothes, being shot, and dying in your place. But I hope you can put on my farmer’s clothes, become an upright person again, work for me, and be filial to your mother.” Unworthy. After the son read this letter, his heart was cut by a knife. He changed his past and lived for his father. He became an upright farmer and served his mother faithfully. Do we take off the old clothes and put on the new clothes given by the Lord? Clothes? The Lord Jesus died for our sins. Do we live for the Lord now? Do we obey His words? Let us pray together: Dear Lord Jesus, thank you and praise you, you are our savior. We should have been judged and punished for our sins. But for the sake of love, you were willing to bear the burden of our sins, go to the cross, and suffer all the humiliation.
