催命藤—-羅馬書6:12［不要容罪在你們必死的身上掌權, 使你們順從肉身的私欲.] [故事］有一種生長在美洲熱帶的攀援附生植物, 當地人稱它為催命藤. 這種植物能夠把另一棵樹木絞死, 然後奪取它的地方生活. 開始的時候, 烏類把催命藤的種子傳播在像榕樹那樣大的樹幹上. 這顆種子漸漸發芽, 以後, 就很快地長大起來, 伸展著它那堅靱的氣根, 緊緊地繞住大樹的樹幹. 就這樣, 大樹因為吸收不到上下流通的養份而逐漸被絞死了. ［思考］許多罪惡都是從一點點開始, 你若不趕快轄制它, 慢慢它就要轄制你, 如同癌細胞. 逐漸擴散, 置你於死地. 思考你有什麼不在意的罪需要解決呢？［禱告］愛我們的天父, 感謝祢將我們從罪中拯救出來, 讓我們可以因信稱義, 脫離罪的捆鎖. 主啊！我們真是軟弱, 常常都避免不了誘惑和罪惡的侵襲, 尤其不在意和放縱小小的罪行, 求主幫助我們, 靠著你的大能防止罪惡在我們心中停留生根, 以免罪惡在我們身上掌權. 求聖靈充滿我們, 保守我們過得勝的生活. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 阿們！
Death Vine – Romans 6:12 [Do not allow sin to have dominion over your mortal body so that you obey the lusts of the flesh.] [Story] There is a climbing epiphyte that grows in tropical America. The locals call it the Death Vine. . This plant can strangle another tree and then take away its place of life. At first, the black class spread the seeds of the death vine on the trunk of a tree as big as a banyan tree. This seed gradually sprouted, and later, It grew up quickly, stretched out its strong aerial roots, and tightly wrapped around the trunk of the big tree. In this way, the big tree was gradually strangled because it could not absorb the nutrients flowing up and down. [Thinking ] Many sins start small. If you don’t control them quickly, they will slowly control you, like cancer cells. They will gradually spread and kill you. Think about the sins you don’t care about that need to be solved? [Prayer] Heavenly Father who loves us, thank you for saving us from sin so that we can be justified by faith and free from the bondage of sin. Lord! We are really weak, and we are often unable to avoid the invasion of temptation and sin, especially when we do not care about and indulge in small sins. Please help us, Lord, and rely on your power to prevent sin from taking root in our hearts, lest sin take over our bodies. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill us and keep us living a victorious life.
