生活太沈重—希伯來書12:1［就當放下各樣的重擔, 脫去容易纒累我們的罪, 存心忍耐, 奔那擺在我們前頭的路程.] [故事］一位老人去見一位智者, 問他怎樣才能擺脫生活的重擔？智者給他一個簍子背在背上, 指著用石頭鋪成的路說”你走每一步就撿一塊石頭放進去, 看看感覺如何？” “自然是越走越沉重.” 智者說”這正是為什麼你感到生活越來越沉重的道理, 每個人來到世上時都背奢一個空簍空子, 而我們每走一步都從這世界上撿些東西放進去,所以才越走越累. ［思考］生命有時太沉重, 是因為我們有太多難以割捨的東西. 最近如果你感到生活太沉重, 活得不輕鬆, 那麼, 是否有放不下的東西呢？［禱告］親愛的天父, 我們讚美祢是憐憫的神, 壓傷的蘆葦祢不折斷, 將殘的燈火祢不吹滅. 主啊！我們也是被生活壓力和重擔壓迫, 甚至被世界和罪惡蒙蔽了, 看不到前程的光景. 求主抉持我們, 幫助我們來到祢的面前, 放下一切纏累我們的重擔. 因為在祢裏面, 我們可以得到安息. 祢也要帶領我們奔走那擺著我們前頭的路程. 禱告是奉主耶稣基督的名, 阿們！
