Humility and Patience – Ecclesiastes 7:8 [The end of a thing is better than the beginning. Better is he who is patient than is proud.] [Story] There was a lady who was about to take a plane to a certain place. She was waiting for the flight. She bought a package of delicious biscuits in the room. When she opened her favorite novel and was about to relax while reading, she found that a man sitting next to her actually opened her package of biscuits, and She put it on the chair and ate it without hesitation. She thought how could such a person exist, so she picked up the cake and ate it without any courtesy. You and I both had one piece, and I grabbed each piece. She was full of resentment. , she never imagined that there would be such a petty and cheap person. The man even smiled at her before getting on the plane. When she sat down on the plane, she wanted to pick up the novel she had not finished reading in her bag, but a complete package of biscuits came out. Now in her bag, it turns out that the bag of biscuits she just ate was not hers. [Thinking] Has a similar embarrassing incident happened to us? Before understanding the cause of the matter, I made private judgments and ended up making mistakes and being embarrassed. [Prayer] Dear Lord Jesus. You have set an example of humility and patience for us, doing everything in order to obey the will of God. Ask Heavenly Father for help. Let us put aside our egos and pride, and avoid being too impulsive in doing things, so as not to be mistaken and offend others. Help us to always seek your will, be wise people, and be able to make shrewd judgments, so that what we do glorifies you. Holy Name. This prayer is in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen!
