你準備好了嗎？提摩太前書4:8［操練身體, 益處還少. 惟獨敬虔, 凡事都有益處. 因為有今生和來生的應許.］［故事］一位老先生夢見自己心臟病去逝, 他向天使大發牢騷說”天使啊, 今天你叫我回來, 我不埋怨你, 但為什麼在叫我回來之前, 不先通知我一聲？讓我作好心理準備, 對子女也有個交代！”. 天使回答說”我曾寫了三封信給你, 提醒你預備好回天家呀！” 老人驚訝的說”沒有啊！我怎麼沒收到呢？” 天使說”第一封信是我讓你腰酸背痛. 第二封信是你的頭髮開始斑白. 第三封信是使你的牙齒脫落. 這些都是提醒你快回天家的信號啊！”. [思考］你可能也開始收到這些信息了. 生命不在乎長短而在其價值. 回想過往的歲月, 有什麼是可以帶回天家的呢？如果覺得還有不足, 抓緊時機, 現在就好好用心補上吧！［禱告］親愛的天父上帝, 祢的話語說人一生的年日是70, 80歲, 但其中可矜誇的, 不過是勞苦愁煩, 轉眼成空, 唯獨敬虔, 有今生和來生的應許. 天父啊！有一天我們都要站在祢的寶座前, 我們可獻上的是什麼呢？求祢幫助我們, 趁著還有機会, 我們們要花時間, 付代價, 操練敬虔, 讓我們帶著豐盛的生命回天家. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 阿們！
