貪財之禍—-箴言28:25［心中貪婪的, 挑起爭端. 倚靠耶和華的, 必得豐裕.］［故事］一位中醫師從叢林中逃出來, 驚恐不安的說”我看見一個吃人的東西, 比老虎更凶得多！我在挖草藥時挖出一堆金幣.” 兩個朋友聽後, 立即跑到中醫師所指之地, 果然發現一堆金幣. 兩人都笑中醫師有多蠢！其中一個說”光天化日之下把金幣搬回家家, 顯然不妥, 必須等到天黑. 不如我看著, 你去把飯給我送來.” 所以另一個人走了, 留下來的人心想, 何必分給他一半呢？乾脆捅死算了. 但那去拿飯的也在想, 何必給他一半呢？於是在所帶來的飯中放了毒藥. 兩人再相遇時, 一個用力把另一個捅死了! 之後他吃了飯, 想帶金幣走時, 突然毒發身亡了. ［思考］當金錢控制一個人的整個思想的時候. 金錢比老虎更凶猛. 很多時候我們不是因為沒有而追求, 卻是為了貪心要更多而盲目的追求. 反思自己對金錢的態度, 不要為金錢而失去更重要的東西. ［禱告］親愛的天父上帝, 人心貪婪, 沒有滿足, 我們花费一生追求物質上的享受, 甚至忽略了更重要, 更有價值的永恆生命. 求主憐憫, 讓我們相信當我們仰望依靠祢, 我們什麼都不缺, 還有今生和永生的盼望. 求祢幫助我們要𧫴慎自守, 免去一切貪心, 因為人的生命, 不在乎家道豐富, 求主保守我們有知足常樂的心. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 阿們！
