The love of money – 1 Timothy 6:10 [The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Some people who love money are led away from the faith and pierce themselves with many sorrows.] [Story] There was an old man whose wife He died young and his sons were unfilial, leaving the old man alone and living a difficult life. One day, a staff member from a valuables storage company sent a large iron box. He said that due to the bad current situation, the old man was required to keep this thing by himself, fearing that he would be responsible for it. They could not afford to pay compensation. When the sons saw that their father still had this treasure box, they began to treat the old man with courtesy and courtesy. When the old man died, his bones were still cold. The sons opened the iron box and prepared to divide the treasure equally. But what was unexpected was that , the box turned out to be just a pile of stones. There was a note on it that read “Secret recipe for old age: if there are no stones, the old man will starve to death.” [Thinking] When money becomes the only concern in interpersonal relationships, people will appear very scary. Even family affection, friendship, and love may be lost. Think about the importance of money in your heart? [Prayer] Dear Heavenly Father God, your words warn us not to love money. We should be content with what we have. But our hearts are so greedy that we even stray from the truth just to love money. Please protect us. . Have a heart of contentment and gratitude, obey Your commandments, love others as ourselves, and have good relationships with others. Honoring our parents will make us live longer on earth. This is the first commandment You gave us with a promise. Prayer is to the Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
