要心裏火熱—-羅馬書12:11［殷勤不可懶惰, 要心裏火熱, 常常服事主.］［故事］一位秀才幾次參加科舉考試都落榜. 他心灰意冷, 執意不再參加考試. 老師問他”你為何不願再科考？” 秀才說”我幾次科舉落第, 已經沒有信心了.” 老師張望四周, 看見一盆水, 便端起水對秀才說”如果你能讓飛起來, 我擔保一定會助你科舉中第.” 秀才眼睛一亮, 立刻對老師說”明天他會提供最佳的答案.” 第二天, 老師來了, 秀才端起水盆灑向空中, 水便飛了起來, 但老師不認同這個答案. 秀才又說把水裝進水袋, 然後掛在風箏上, 水便可飛起來了. 老師對這答案也不滿意. 秀才徹底失望了. 老師拿起水壺裝了些水, 然後放在火爐上面. 一會兒, 水壺的水燒開了, 看著騰騰上升的水氣, 老師笑著對秀才說”你看, 水已經飛起來了.” [思考］水飛起來是奇跡, 但這個奇跡的發生, 是必須滾燙發熱. 我們的事奉也是一様, 必須時時保持一股熱度, 一顆滾燙的心, 果效才能發生. ［禱告］親愛的天父上帝, 感謝祢的愛吸引我們, 充滿我們. 求聖靈澆灌我們的心, 使我們能夠保守愛祢和事奉祢的熱心, 不是三分鐘熱度, 也不要在不知不覺中, 受到環境中人事物的變化, 而逐漸冷淡. 幫助我們持守殷勤不懶惰和火熱的心, 一生忠心事奉祢. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 阿們！
