絆腳石—-哥林多前書8:9［只是你們要𧫴慎, 恐怕你們這自由, 竟成了那軟弱人的絆腳石.] [故事］有一個賣酒的人家, 所賣的酒不但斤兩夠, 而且酒味頗佳, 待客又十分親切, 可是不知什麼原因, 生意始終不好, 所釀制的酒常常賣不出去, 老板便去請教村中的長老是否有良策. 長老問道”你們門口是否有養一隻猛犬？” “是啊！為什麼養了狗, 酒就賣不出去？” 長老回答”因為人們會怕狗, 如果小孩帶著錢, 要幫大人買酒, 看到門口那隻大狗, 心生恐懼, 就嚇跑了, 生意自然好不起來.” [思考］我們擁有最好的信仰, 最寶貴的救恩, 但是求主光照, 是否我們的行為或表現, 甚至教會的一些習性, 成為人們進到教會的攔阻？不要一昧的責備人不信耶穌, 是否我們所行的反而使人跌倒？［禱告］親愛的天父上帝, 我們來到祢的面前, 懇求祢憐悯我們, 我們在每日的生活中, 常常有意無意的得罪了人, 也得罪了祢. 求祢赦免我們. 求聖靈幫助我們, 常常親近主, 有主在我們心中, 指導我們行在真道上. 有仁愛, 喜樂, 和平, 忍耐和信實的心, 在生活中有美好的見證, 能夠帶給領人來認識祢和信靠祢. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 阿們！
Stumbling block – 1 Corinthians 8:9 [But be careful, lest this freedom of yours become a stumbling block to the weak.] [Story] There was a wine seller, and the wine he sold was not only worth a pound. There was enough, and the wine tasted good, and he was very friendly to his guests. However, for some unknown reason, the business was always bad, and the wine he brewed was often unsold. So the boss went to ask the elders in the village if he had any good ideas. The elder asked, ” Do you have a fierce dog at your door?” “Yes! Why can’t you sell wine if you have a dog?” The elder replied, “Because people are afraid of dogs. If a child brings money, he has to help the adults buy wine. When he sees the door, That big dog got scared and ran away, so the business naturally couldn’t get better.” [Thinking] We have the best faith and the most precious salvation, but please ask the Lord to enlighten us, whether our behavior or performance, or even the church Are some of these habits an obstacle for people to enter the church? Don’t blindly accuse people of not believing in Jesus. Are what we do actually causing others to stumble? [Prayer] Dear Heavenly Father God, we come before you and beg you to have mercy on us. In our daily life, we often offend others intentionally or unintentionally, and we also offend you. Please forgive us. Ask the Holy Spirit to help us.
