腓立比書3:13-14［我只有一件事, 就是忘記背後努力面前的, 向著標竿直跑, 要得上帝在基督耶穌裏從上面召我來的獎賞.] [案例］有個客人搭乘一輛計程車, 半路上他拍拍司機的肩膀想問一件事, 沒想到居然嚇得司機哇哇叫. “啊！對不起, 沒想到會嚇著你.” 客人抱歉道. “沒關係, 小小的誤會.” 司機回答, “我今天才剛開計程車, 過去我一直是開靈車的.” [理由］忘記背後. 人很容易掉入慣性之中, 如果過去的某些經驗或習慣捆綁我們, 使我們無法被上帝調整和改變, 要奉主的名斷開一切鎖鏈, 忘記背後, 努力向前走. ［結論］親愛的天父上帝, 我們感謝祢無比的愛, 雖然我們不好, 不配得, 但祢仍然愛我們. 拯救我們脫離罪惡死亡, 使我們成為祢的兒女. 求主幫助我們, 斷開以往罪惡鎖鏈的捆綁, 使我們得到䆁放, 生命改變. 忘記以往的不好, 重新得力, 努力向著主的標竿而行, 直到見主面的時候. 奉主耶穌基督的名禱告, 阿們！
Philippians 3:13-14 [One thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.] [Case Study] A passenger once got into a taxi. During the ride, he tapped the driver on the shoulder to ask a question, but to his surprise, the driver screamed in fright. The passenger apologized, saying, “Oh! I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to scare you.” The driver replied, “It’s fine. Just a small misunderstanding. Today is my first day driving a taxi. Before this, I used to drive a hearse.” [Reasoning] Forgetting what is behind: It is easy for people to fall into patterns and habits. If past experiences or habits bind us and prevent God from transforming and adjusting us, we must break those chains in the name of the Lord. Forget the past and strive forward. [Conclusion] Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your boundless love. Even though we are flawed and undeserving, You still love us. You saved us from sin and death and made us Your children. We ask for Your help to break the chains of sin from our past, set us free, and transform our lives. Help us forget the wrongs of the past, regain strength, and press on toward the goal of meeting You one day. In Jesus Christ’s name, we pray. Amen!
