要等候—-彌迦書7:7［至於我, 我要仰望那耶和華, 要等候那救我的上帝, 我的上帝必應允我.］任何世代, 罪惡總不會缺乏. 看先知彌迦的世代, 地上虔誠人盡滅. 先知彌迦是神的僕人, 他仰望神, 他禱告, 他藉著神的靈工作, 作看起來沒有盼望的工作. 他為了主. 不顧惜自己的性命, 傳不討人喜悅的信息. 他沒有差會支持, 聖殿中的祭司把持經濟, 不會分肥給他, 反對迫害倒是常事. 他不怕死, 至死向主忠心. 彌迦為何在盼望中等候？ 因為［就是少年人也要疲乏困倦, 強壯的也必全然跌倒, 但那等候耶和華的, 必從新得力. 他們必如鷹展翅上騰, 他們奔跑卻不困倦, 行走卻不疲乏.] 以賽亞書40:29-30. 你相信上帝總不誤事嗎？許多時候我們禱告需要足夠的等待. 在等待的過程中, 耐心是我們要學習的功課. 你是否為一些事情, 神尚未有回音而心中焦慮？在安靜中把一切都交托給我主. 求主賜給你一顆耐心等候的心.［禱告］親愛的天父上帝, 我們感謝祢愛我們, 賜給我們向祢禱告的權利. 藉著禱告我們可以獻上我們的敬拜和讚美, 向祢傾訴和祈求. 將我們的憂愁掛慮交托, 將我們的需要和難處向祢祈求. 天父祢有祢的時間和旨意. 求祢幫助我們有信心和耐心, 等候祢的旨意成就. 我們感謝祢, 因為祢必垂聽我們的禱告. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 阿們！
Wait on the Lord – Micah 7:7 [But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.] [Reflection] In every generation, sin is ever-present. During the time of the prophet Micah, the faithful had nearly vanished from the earth. As a servant of God, Micah chose to look to the Lord and pray. He worked tirelessly, guided by the Spirit of God, on what seemed to be a hopeless mission. For the sake of the Lord, Micah risked his life to proclaim messages that were not popular. He had no organizational backing or financial support from the temple priests. On the contrary, he often faced opposition and persecution. Yet, Micah remained fearless and loyal to God, even unto death. Why did Micah wait in hope? Because he trusted in the promise: [Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.] (Isaiah 40:29-30) Do you believe that God is never late? Often, prayer requires patience. Waiting is a lesson in faith and endurance. Are you anxious because you feel God has not yet answered your prayers? Surrender everything to Him in quiet trust, and ask Him to give you a patient heart. [Prayer] Dear Heavenly Father, We thank You for Your love and for granting us the privilege of prayer. Through prayer, we can offer our worship and praise, pour out our hearts, and make our requests known to You. We entrust our worries and burdens to You, seeking Your help with our needs and challenges. Father, You have Your perfect timing and will. Please help us to have the faith and patience to wait for Your plans to unfold. We are grateful because we know You hear our prayers. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen!
