渴慕永恆的家—彼得前書2:11［親愛的弟兄啊, 你們是客旅, 是寄居的. 我勸你們要禁戒肉體的私慾, 這私慾是與靈魂爭戰的.］［釋義］我們在世上只是寄居, 是客旅, 這世界非我家, 我們現在的生活仍留戀什麼, 重視什麼？還是渴慕天上的家？親愛的弟兄姊妹, 能願意盡量放下各種擔子, 活得簡單輕便, 定睛天上的家, 專心奔跑天路？帖撒羅尼迦前書5:23［願賜平安的神親自使你們全然成聖, 又與你們的靈與魂與身子得蒙保守…］人的靈whole spirit最高, 魂soul居於靈之下, 而人的身體body是來接觸外面物質界的憑借. 人的靈使人可以認識神, 接受神的啓示與領受恩典, 感知領悟永恆事物. 人的魂是所有人共同擁有的精神器官. 靈屬於神學的範疇. 魂屬於哲學與心理學的範疇. 體屬於科學的範疇.［禱告］親愛的天父上帝, 求祢常常提醒我們在世上只是暫住的居所, 不要被今世事物纒繞, 而是充滿信心和盼望去行完世上的旅程, 渴慕進到祢為我們預備的永恒家鄉. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 阿們！
Longing for an Eternal Home – 1 Peter 2:11 [Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul.] [Interpretation] We are merely sojourners and pilgrims on this earth; this world is not our home. What are we still attached to and valuing in our current life? Or are we longing for our heavenly home? Dear brothers and sisters, are we willing to lay down every burden, live simply and lightly, fix our eyes on our heavenly home, and wholeheartedly run the race toward eternity?
1 Thessalonians 5:23 says, [May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless…] The human spirit (whole spirit) is the highest part of our being, followed by the soul, while the body interacts with the physical world. The spirit allows us to know God, receive His revelation, and perceive eternal truths and grace. The soul is the shared seat of human intellect and emotion, central to philosophy and psychology. The body belongs to the realm of science, serving as the vessel for engaging the material world. [Prayer] Dear Heavenly Father, remind us often that we are only temporary residents in this world. Help us not to be entangled by earthly things but to live with faith and hope as we journey through life. May we long for the eternal home You have prepared for us. We pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen!
