以生命影響未信的家人—-彼得前書3:1-2［你們做妻子的, 要順服自己的丈夫. 這樣, 若有不信從道理的丈夫, 他們雖然不聽道, 也可以因妻子的品行被感化過來, 這正昰因為看見你們有貞潔的品行和敬畏的心.］［釋義］今日經文提到, 當時有些婦女在婚後才有機會認識主耶穌, 因此彼得建議已有信主的妻子, 要在未信守的丈夫前立下美好的品行, 使對方能被自己的品行感化而相信主耶穌. 我們是否願意以生命影響生命, 叫未信的人因我們的好品行而歸信主耶穌嗎？使人信主有兩個方法：傳道與品行；前者是有聲的福音, 後者是無聲的福音, 兩者須相稱. 許多時候, 無聲的見證勝似有聲的傳講. 傳福音乃是一件得人的工作, 已信家人所付出的代價是品行, 所得的卻是未信家人的靈魂, 何等上算. 聖經並不勸勉信徒離開不信的丈夫或妻子, 仍要盡力感化, 使對方蒙受救恩, 不能堅持己見. 夫妻任何一方, 品行的感化應重於道理的說服或情緒的施壓.［禱告］親愛的天父上帝, 有未信主配偶的婚姻生活是滿有挑戰的, 求祢賜下恩典給這些家庭, 求祢幫助信主的配偶成為祢的見證, 讓未信的家人能接受救恩. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 阿們！
Influencing Unbelieving Family Members with Life – 1 Peter 3:1-2 [Wives, in the same way, submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives.] [Interpretation] Today’s scripture addresses situations where some women came to know the Lord after marriage. Peter advises believing wives to exhibit godly behavior before their unbelieving husbands, so they might be won over to faith in Jesus Christ by their conduct. Are we willing to influence others’ lives through our own, leading unbelievers to Christ by our good conduct? There are two ways to bring people to Christ: through words (preaching) and through behavior (living testimony). The former is the audible gospel, while the latter is the silent gospel, and both must align. Often, silent testimonies speak louder than words. Sharing the gospel is a work of winning souls. The price paid by believing family members is a godly life, and the reward is the salvation of their unbelieving loved ones—a truly worthwhile exchange. The Bible does not encourage believers to leave an unbelieving spouse but rather urges them to work hard to influence them so they might receive salvation. This influence should rely more on godly behavior than on arguments or emotional pressure. [Prayer] Dear Heavenly Father, marriages where one spouse does not believe in You can be full of challenges. We ask for Your grace upon these families. Help the believing spouse to be a living testimony so that their unbelieving family members may come to accept salvation. We pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen!
