說好話—-以弗所書4:29［汚穢的言語, 一句不可出口. 只要隨事說造就人的好話, 叫聽見的人得益處.］［釋義］我們常被舌頭控制, 而非控制舌頭, 以致說出許多不造就人的話. 提醒自己所說出的每一句話是否都經過過瀘, 思考所要傳講的是否正確呢？ 對我有幫助嗎？是否非講不可呢？ 污穢的言語是那些觸動人的情欲, 毫無禮貌, 粗獷的言語, 淫辭妄語, 駡人的話語, 和惡毒而敗壞人的話. 如果我們要革除那些言辭上的汚染, 我們必須要選擇改變並請求神的幫助, 這是開始潔淨我們靈命環境的一個好方法.［禱告］親愛的天父上帝, 我們𠄘認我們身上肢體最難控制的就是舌頭. 我們常常在話語上驕傲自大, 得罪和傷害人, 我們傳播是非, 說很多不造就人的話. 求主赦免我們, 也求主賜給我們聖靈的能力, 能夠控制我們的言語. 求主賜給我們智慧, 能夠說智者的言語, 讓聽的人得益處. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 阿們！
Speak Words That Build Others Up – Ephesians 4:29 [Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.] [Explanation] We are often controlled by our tongues rather than controlling them, which leads to speaking words that fail to edify others. We should remind ourselves to filter every word before speaking. Is it truthful? Is it helpful? Is it necessary? Unwholesome speech includes words that stir up lust, are impolite, coarse, obscene, abusive, or malicious. To eliminate verbal pollution, we must choose to change and ask for God’s help. This is an essential step in cleansing our spiritual environment. [Prayer] Dear Heavenly Father, we confess that our tongue is one of the hardest parts of our body to control. We often speak with pride, offend, and hurt others. We spread gossip and say words that fail to build others up. Lord, forgive us and grant us the power of the Holy Spirit to control our speech. Give us wisdom to speak words of encouragement and truth, so that those who hear may benefit. In Jesus Christ’s name, we pray. Amen!
