人生標竿—-腓立比書3:13-14［我只有一件事, 就是忘記背後, 努力面前的, 向著標竿直跑. 要得神在基督耶穌裏從上面召我來得的獎賞.］［釋義］要直跑, 便須不管旁邊的事物, 也須不理會別人的譏笑或稱許, 而一心向前, 不取巧, 不投機. 我們有時不成功是因為看到的太多, 顧慮太多或禁不住太多的誘惑而失去了自己的目標和方向. 我們只要望著天上的標竿, 努力向前直跑, 就必得獎賞. ［禱告］親愛的天父上帝, 我們曾經不知道活在世上的意義是什麼, 我們追求世俗的一切東西, 但都不能滿足我們的心, 這一切也都會失去. 我們感謝祢, 讓我們尋得人生的意義, 直奔向天上的標竿, 有祢給我們的獎賞, 又是存到永遠. 求主加添力量給我們, 能夠堅定和持守我們所信的, 直到我們見主面. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 阿們！
Life’s Goal — Philippians 3:13-14 [But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.] [Explanation] To press on toward the goal, we must disregard distractions around us and pay no attention to mockery or praise from others. Instead, we need to focus single-mindedly on moving forward—without shortcuts or opportunism. Sometimes, we fail because we see too much, worry too much, or succumb to too many temptations, losing sight of our goal and direction. If we fix our eyes on the heavenly goal and run steadfastly toward it, we will surely receive the prize. [Prayer] Dear Heavenly Father, there was a time when we did not know the purpose of our lives on earth. We chased after worldly things, but they could not satisfy our hearts and will eventually fade away. We thank You for helping us discover the true meaning of life: to run steadfastly toward the heavenly goal, where You have prepared an eternal reward for us. Please grant us strength to remain steadfast in our faith and hold firmly to what we believe until the day we see You face to face. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen!
