做事精明—-撒母耳上18:14［大衛做事無不精明, 耶和華與他同在.］［釋義］大衛有見識, 非常𧫴慎. 他雖然大大得勝, 聲名遠播, 但他仍以常人自居, 不自命非凡. 大衛仍照常替掃羅彈琴. 當掃羅要他作女婿時, 他自認不配說：”我是貧窮卑微的人.” 大衛和神的交通非常緊密, 耶和華與他同在. 大衛成為合神心意的人, 其袐訣就是不敢稍微離開神, 他的經歷告訴我們”我將耶和華常擺在我面前, 因他在我右邊. 我便不至動搖.” 詩16:8. ［禱告］親愛的主耶穌. 我們感謝祢, 祢救我們脫離罪的轄制, 成為神的兒女, 更讓我們有機會在教會參與事奉的工作. 求神讓我們能不求自己的益處, 不看自己過於所當看的. 求聖靈幫助我們, 凡事敬畏主, 不貪圖虛浮的榮耀, 存心謙卑, 看別人比自己強, 求神同在, 使我們做事精明, 並得神的喜悅. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 阿們！
Wisdom in Conduct—1 Samuel 18:14 [David behaved wisely in all his ways, and the Lord was with him.] [Explanation] David showed insight and caution. Although he achieved great victories and became widely known, he remained humble, never considering himself exceptional. He continued to play the harp for Saul as usual. When Saul offered him his daughter in marriage, David humbly replied, “I am a poor and lowly man.” David’s relationship with God was very close, and the Lord was with him. He became a man after God’s own heart because he dared not stray from God even a little. His experience teaches us: “I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.” —Psalm 16:8. [Prayer] Dear Lord Jesus, we thank You for saving us from the bondage of sin and making us children of God. Thank You for the opportunity to serve in the church. We ask that You help us not to seek our own benefit or think too highly of ourselves. May the Holy Spirit help us to revere You in all things, avoid empty glory, remain humble, and regard others as better than ourselves. Lord, be with us, give us wisdom in all we do, and let us please You. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
