傳道書3:11a”上帝造萬物, 各按其時成為美好, 又將永生安置在世人心裡.” 永生是神賜人永恆的視野. 永生生命的特質是”聖靈所結的果子, 就是仁愛. 喜樂, 和平, 忍耐, 恩慈, 良善, 信實, 溫柔, 節制.”加拉太書5:22-23. 簡言之, 永生是指你的存在是一種祝福. 生活中小小的舉動, 就能為他人帶來正面的力量, 成為他人的祝福, 因而自己找到找到生命的價值. 祝字最早見於甲骨文, 像一個人祈禱的樣子, 本義是祝願禱告. 祭祀時主持祭禮之人亦可稱為祝. 福字最早見於甲骨文, 其本義為神祖保佑, 即説文解字中的祐字. 後引申為富貴壽考等. 祝福二字本謂祈神賜福, 現泛指祝人順遂幸福. 創世紀12:2-3上帝對亞伯拉罕説”我必賜福給你, 叫你的名為大, 你也要叫別人得福. 為你祝福的, 我必賜福與他. 地上的萬族, 都要因你得福.” 這是上帝給亞伯拉罕的祝福. 同時也是給全人類的祝福. 上帝是在告訴我們每一個人, 你的人生不是偶然的, 你的存在是有一個目的. 你是上帝所期待, 所珍愛的. 上帝看你都是好的. 當上帝説你是有盼望的, 你就是有盼望的. 當上帝説你是有價值的, 你就是有價值的. 不但如此, 當你人生有上帝時, 你會成為別人的祝福. 上帝的祝福也會隨著你的腳步, 去到任何地方. 你的存在就是別人的祝福. 當你成為一個能祝福別人的時候, 你的生命一定會充滿喜樂與盼望. 今天上帝要來祝福你, 當你以上帝眼光, 看待自己的時候, 將會更有能力, 使你生活充滿祝福, 成為有影響力的生命.
