Happiness lies in contentment – 1 Timothy 6:7-8 [For we have brought nothing into the world, nor can we take anything into the world. As long as we have food and clothing, we should be content.] Take it, don’t take it with you in death. Be content and be happy.” Enough, this kind of happiness is what we always need to learn. In fact, true happiness does not require us to have more things. Because more does not mean happiness. Happiness does not lie in How much you have, but in contentment. Only by focusing on what is really important, there will be true satisfaction and joy. The apostle Paul in the Bible also said a passage, “I do not say this for lack of it, no matter what the situation I know how to be humble, and I know how to be rich. I am full, I am hungry. I have more, or I am lacking. I have the secret of everything.” Philip P. 4:11-12. Paul is a master at choosing happiness. But in fact Paul was in the worst and saddest Roman prison at the time. I don’t know when he was locked up. The future is uncertain, but Paul Tell us the secret of his joy. No matter what situation he was in, including the prison situation, he had learned to be content. And that brought him great joy. Dear friends, contentment is the secret of joy. What can be learned is that when we enjoy contentment in our environment and appreciate what God has given us, we can find true satisfaction and joy . Today you may not be the person you like, and you may not have what you desire. But God wants to bless you that no matter the circumstances, you can trust that God is at work in your life. Things are moving forward. The great joy that God bestows on you. Lao Tzu’s Tao Te Ching Chapter 46 “There is no misfortune greater than dissatisfaction, and no blame greater than desire. Therefore, contentment is always sufficient.” For reference.
