你值得更好的生活—-馬太福音23:12［凡自高的, 必降為卑. 自卑的, 必升為高.］除非我們對十字架有真實的認識, 不然我們真的不敢説我要擁抱十字架. 雖然我們知道耶穌來是要我們得生命, 並且得的更豐盛, 但有多少人真正經歷耶穌成為我們的生命跟豐盛呢？除非我們進入十字架這條道路, 才會將我們帶入基督的生命和豐盛裡面. 基督生命最高的表達在十字架. 十字架不僅是捨己, 不為己, 也是不靠自己. 耶穌的身份是如此的高, 配受一切的敬拜. 祂是擁有一切的主宰. 卻成為一位無助無力的嬰兒. 又生在卑微的馬槽中. 祂是萬王之王, 卻成了奴僕. 祂是造物主, 卻被受造人的唾棄. 祂賜人生命, 卻被赤祼裸的釘死在十字架上. 祂從宇宙的中心巔峯, 直降到最卑微, 最淒慘的十字架之死. 耶穌在世上的生與死, 違反了這世界的價值體系. 從世來.看, 十字架實在是一個愚昧的記號. 祂透過十字架向世人呈現天國的高下順序, 是向下捨己. 所以我們的主自己向下, 自己卑微. 降得下來, 才升的上去. 會處卑賤, 才能處豐富. 大的要服事小的. 要作頭就要先作眾人的僕人. 要搶先給, 才能夠有所得. 這就是十字架的道理. 叫千萬人生命改變的是十字架. 耶穌的十字架, 祂的柔和和謙卑捨己, 才是耶穌生命最偉大的表現. 只有在耶穌身上, 我們才能看得見, 榮耀和卑微, 能力跟憐恤, 公義跟慈愛, 那麼和諧融合在一個人的身上. 雖然祂是那麼的聖潔. 可是祂卻是罪人的朋友. 而這才是基督的生命. 這也是神要做在我們身上的生命, 也是神要給我們最大的豐盛跟榮耀. 因為十字架才是進入生命豐盛的道路.

So our Lord himself is downward. , humble yourself. Only when you come down, can you go up. When you are humble, you can be rich. The elder must serve the younger. If you want to be the head, you must be the servant of all. This is the truth of the cross. It is the cross that changes the lives of thousands. The cross of Jesus, His meekness and humility and self-denial, is the greatest expression of Jesus’ life. Only in Jesus can we see glory and humility , power and mercy, righteousness and love, so harmoniously combined in one person. Although he is so holy, he is the friend of sinners. And this is the life of Christ. This is the life that God wants to have in us , and also God wants to give us the greatest abundance and glory. Because the cross is the way into the abundance of life.
