倚靠上帝, 成就一切不可能的事—-腓立比書4:13［我靠著那加給我力量的, 凡事都能做.] 我們知道耶利哥是約書亞進入迦南的第一塲, 也是最重要的一塲戰爭. 但是這一塲從人來看從各方來看, 都是約書亞以色列人不可能得勝的一埸戰爭. 考古學家在挖掘耶利哥的時候, 發現耶利哥是一個很大的城, 而且城牆非常的堅固. 它有兩道牆, 每道牆高三十尺. 連聖經都説, 住在裡面的是大能的勇士. 神要約書亞去打一個他自己靠著自己不可能得勝的仗. 但是因為有神, 他們就得勝了. 神要約書亞去做他不能的. 但靠著那加給我力量, 就是凡事都能做. 從創世記到啓示錄, 神要人做的事, 沒有一件事是人能夠做的. 亞伯拉罕100歲要生孩子不可能. 摩西要帶百萬以色列人出埃及不可能. 基甸只有300人要救以色列人不可能. 大衛要打敗巨人歌利亞不可能. 尼西米要重建耶路撒冷城牆不可能. 耶穌要門徒, 最軟弱的門徒, 把福音傳遍天下, 傳到地極不可能. 但是每一件這些不可能的事, 都因為有了神就都成就了. 耶利哥城七天就倒塌了. 耶路撒冷城牆兩百年蓋不起來的, 尼希米52天就建成了. 每一件都是人不可能的, 但卻都有人在其中, 紅海要分開, 約但河的水要停住, 是只有上帝才能做的事. 但是需要有摩西的仗伸出來. 需要有祭司的腳踏進河裡面. 上帝的工作需要你. 神在歷世歷代都在找一些願意的人. 神不在乎你是誰, 神沒有要求, 神也不看你有什麼背景. 你長的帥長得胖長得瘦, 上帝對這些一點都不在乎, 上帝只要願意的人.

But from the point of view of people and all sides, it was a war that Joshua and the Israelites could not win. When archaeologists were excavating Jericho, Found out that Jericho was a big city, and the walls were very strong. It had two walls, each thirty feet high. Even the Bible says that the inhabitants were mighty warriors. God wanted Joshua To fight a battle that he could not win on his own. But because of God they won. God told Joshua to do what he couldn’t. In the book of Revelation, there is nothing that God wants man to do. There is nothing that man can do . It is impossible for Abraham to have a child at the age of 100. It is impossible for Moses to bring millions of Israelites out of Egypt. Gideon only has 300 people to save It is impossible for the Israelites. It is impossible for David to defeat the giant Goliath. It is impossible for Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. It is impossible for Jesus to have disciples, the weakest of them, to preach the gospel to the whole world and to the earth. One of these impossible things was accomplished because of God. The city of Jericho fell in seven days. The wall of Jerusalem could not be built in 200 years, but Nehemiah built it in 52 days. It is impossible for man, but there are people in it. The Red Sea will be divided, and the waters of the Jordan River will be stopped. Only God can do it. Inside. God’s work needs you. God has been looking for some willing people throughout the ages. God doesn’t care who you are, God has no requirements, and God doesn’t care what background you have. God doesn’t care about this at all, God only wants people who are willing.
