Break free from habitual thinking – 1 Corinthians 2:9 Blind spot. There is a miracle in the Bible that more than 5,000 people followed Jesus, and at night, when the crowd did not go away, Jesus asked his disciples to prepare dinner for these people. One of the disciples, Philip, said it was impossible . But another disciple, Andrew, took five loaves of bread from a child, and two fish, and handed them over to Jesus. Not only did he feed five thousand people, but 12 baskets of barley loaves were left. John 6: 12-14. Don’t let your habitual thinking limit the possibilities of what God has to offer you in your life . Just as the disciple Philip, based on past experience, thought that feeding five thousand people under the circumstances was Idiots talk in their sleep. With their habitual thinking, of course, it is a reasonable inference. But with Jesus, nothing is impossible. We have to learn from the disciple Andrew to give what you can, and let the rest. Jesus came to make it happen. Think about today if you have unfulfilled dreams, or impossible problems. Commit them to God! When you get rid of the original habitual thinking and focus on believing in God, God will accomplish the impossible for you. You will also be able to win the ultimate victory in life. Note: Andrew is the most ordinary of the 12 disciples , unlike Peter’s leadership temperament, John’s caring and beloved, not even James’ flamboyant first martyrdom, but Andrew’s life had one of the greatest qualities that brought people to Jesus many times . Andrew was arrested and preferred to be nailed to an X-shaped cross, still preaching, and was martyred four days later. The remains are still in the Vatican Cathedral.
