Will you be saved if you call on the name of the Lord? —Romans 10:13 [Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.] This verse is quoted from Joel 2:32. Matthew 14:30-31 [Peter was walking on the water, and the wind was strong, and he was about to As he sank, he shouted, “Lord, save me! Jesus quickly reached out and grabbed him.” Calling on the name of the Lord is the secret of our salvation. The key lies in whether the petitioner is sincere and trustworthy. Trust that comes from sincerity. , the Lord will listen. This is a promise given by God to us, and we will be saved. It means that we believe in and rely on the Lord Jesus, so we open our mouths and cry out to Him, which will bring us salvation. If Christians rely on their inner feelings and It is a very legitimate and natural thing to call upon the Lord urgently when there is a need. Unfortunately, some people regard calling on the name of the Lord as a form and practice, and repeatedly call on the name of the Lord in front of the public, causing others to be angry. I am disgusted and think that they do not respect the Lord’s name enough. They even call them Shouters. Therefore, although we Christians can and should call on the Lord’s name, we should avoid being extreme and formal. What is more serious is Acts 19:13 -16, pointing out the evil deeds of exorcists who use the name of the Lord Jesus without permission. The name of the Lord is not used to earn improper benefits. The name of the Lord is not used as a means to achieve a certain end. Romans 10:9 [People Believe with your heart and you will be justified; confess with your mouth and you will be saved.]
