When God closes a door, does He open a window for you? Proverbs 16:9 [A heart plans its own way, but the Lord directs its steps.] God directs our direction, but He is not responsible for closing doors or opening windows for us. He can do whatever pleases Him, Jeremiah 32: 26 [I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; nothing is impossible.], He never forsakes His people, Hebrews 13:5 [I will never leave you nor forsake you. ] But if God closes a door in your life, He never promises that He will open a window for you. He may not open anything at all, or He may want you to realize that you are looking in the wrong place. God is the gift of There is a God of grace, but we must not develop a dependent mentality, assuming that God is obligated to meet all our needs according to our heart desires. The Bible is full of examples of the Holy Spirit closing doors, windows, and other imaginable entrances to prevent a People go in the wrong direction at the wrong time. Acts 16:7-8 [Since the Holy Spirit had forbidden them to preach in Asia, they passed through Phrygia and the region of Galatia. When they came to the borders of Mysia, they thought to go to Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow it.] Clearly God was directing their direction, not closing doors and opening windows for them.
