Misunderstandings in the Trinity analogy – Matthew 3:17 The Father [This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.] Luke 3:21 The Son [Jesus is praying.] Mark 1:10 The Holy Spirit [ Like a dove descending on Jesus.] Christians from ancient times to the present have longed to use common sense and human language to understand the Lord who created the universe. The so-called Trinity is three different persons with the same ontology, the same essence, and the same attributes. is one God. The Trinity analogy is both theologically and logically flawed. The first false analogy is that the Trinity is like an egg. It has a yolk, an egg white, and an egg shell. This analogy seems reasonable, but it denies the unity of God’s being. One nature. Because the yolk and eggshell of an egg are made of completely different materials. This analogy is like tritheism. The second wrong analogy is water, which consists of solid, liquid and gas. Although water changes its form, It is still H2O. But this analogy denies the distinction between God’s entities and ignores the simultaneous existence of the Trinity. Because no water molecule can appear in three forms at the same time. Modalism believes that God has only one person and three different forms. appears to us in the form of. The third wrong analogy is that the Trinity is like one person, who is father, husband, and son at the same time. Although this analogy solves the challenge that different persons of the Trinity can exist at the same time, it cannot solve it. The problem of the interaction between persons in the Trinity. It is impossible to achieve effective interaction among the three identities in the same physical space and time. The fourth wrong analogy is that the Trinity is like the sun, with light and heat. But the light and heat are not the sun itself. It is nothing but a derivative emanating from the sun. The fifth error category is that the Trinity is like a clover. This analogy will fall into the problem of partialism. This is also a variant of modalism. The mystery of the Trinity must be fully understood. Possible. We are creatures, and God is the Creator. To fully understand God, we must be greater than or equal to God, and our identity makes it impossible. We can understand what God is, but we cannot understand what God is. But Paul gave us a comfort, 1 Corinthians 13:12 [Now we seem to be looking at each other in a blur, but then we will be face to face. What I know now is limited, but then we will be face to face. Full knowledge, just as the Lord knows me.] I personally believe that the Son is the incarnation and expression of the Father. The Spirit is the reality and realization of the Father and the Son. The Trinity is one me in heaven, one me on earth, and another mentally.
