預備迎接主—-馬太福音24:42［所以你們要儆醒, 因為不知道你們的主是哪一天來到.] ［故事］有一間著名的百貨公司轉手給一位新買家, 但是公司大多數的人都沒有看過新總裁的樣子. 在交接典禮當天, 大家在會場品嚐茶點, 等候新總裁到來. 一位衣著樸素的老頭子進到會場, 無人注意或理會他. 他孤零零的站在一個角落. 一位年輕女孩看到了他, 立即走前給他一杯飲料, 還親切和他交談. 不久, 節目開始, 司儀邀請新總裁上台致詞, 竟然是那位毫不起眼的老人走出來. 他一上台就請那位女孩也上來, 說明百貨公司就是服務業, 而這位女孩把服務業的精神完全發揮出來. 因此不但給予她嘉獎, 也當場提升她為訓練部的主管. ［思考］耶穌復活升天了, 祂隨時會再來, 祂來到時, 我們是否已準備妥當, 並被祂所誇獎？學習將每一天當成主來的日子, 忠心而儆醒的度日, 同時也善待周圍的人. ［禱告］親愛的主耶穌, 祢是我們復活的主, 我們感謝讃美祢, 因為祢回到天父那裏, 為我們預備住處, 還要再來接我們到祢那裏去, 永遠與祢同住. 雖然我們不知道祢幾時會來, 求聖靈幫助我們, 時刻儆醒, 有慈愛良善的心對待周圍的人, 生活有美好的見解, 隨時預備妥當迎接祢. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 阿們！
Prepare to welcome the Lord – Matthew 24:42 [So be alert, for you do not know on what day your Lord will come.] [Story] A famous department store changed hands to a new buyer, but Most people in the company had never seen the new president. On the day of the handover ceremony, everyone had refreshments at the venue and waited for the arrival of the new president. An old man in simple clothes entered the venue, and no one paid attention to him. He was alone. Standing in a corner. A young girl saw him and immediately walked over to give him a drink and talk to him cordially. Soon, the show started and the emcee invited the new president to the stage to give a speech. It was the inconspicuous old man who came out. As soon as he came on stage, he invited the girl to come up, explaining that the department store is a service industry, and this girl fully brought out the spirit of the service industry. Therefore, he not only gave her a commendation, but also promoted her to the director of the training department on the spot. [Thinking ] Jesus has been resurrected and ascended to heaven. He will come again at any time. When He comes, are we ready and praised by Him? Learn to regard every day as the day when the Lord comes, live it faithfully and alertly, and at the same time be kind to the people around you. [Prayer] Dear Lord Jesus, You are our resurrected Lord. We thank You for Your return to heaven. Father, prepare a dwelling for us, and will come again to take us to You to live with You forever. Although we don’t know when You will come, please help us, the Holy Spirit, to be alert at all times and treat those around us with a loving and kind heart.
