重要的事—-馬太福音6:25［所以我告訴你們, 不要為生命憂慮吃什麼, 喝什麼, 為身體憂慮穿什麼. 生命不勝於飲食嗎？ 身體不勝於衣裳嗎？］［故事］有兩個人在旅行途中覺得非常口渴, 當他們終於發現一口井水時, 都迫不及待的盛水來喝. 其中一人拿出了美麗的雕花陶瓷杯, 另一人則拿出普通的小鋼杯. 前者覺得自己真是有品味, 覺得很驕傲, 虛榮心得到滿足. 後者覺得自己很粗俗, 覺得很自卑, 羞恥心使他陷入無謂的煩惱. 但是他們都忘了, 自己需要的是水. 而不是盛水的杯. [思考］生命, 不是為了抱怨和煩惱, 也不是為虛榮和不必要的占有. 活得快樂幸福在於個人的心態, 看清楚自己想要的是什麼, 不要讓不重要的事成為我們憂慮的來源. ［禱告］豐盛和供應我們的天父上帝, 感謝祢, 賜甘雨滋潤大地, 賜靈糧堂餵養我們的靈命, 我們每天所需用的, 祢也眷顧. 主啊！求祢賜給我們智慧的心, 曉得追求心靈真正的需要, 而不是外表虛浮的榮華. 求祢幫助我們不要為不重要的事物思慮煩惱, 凡事仰望愛我們的天父. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 阿們！
Important Things—Matthew 6:25 [Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food? Is not the body more valuable than clothes? ] [Story] Two people felt very thirsty while traveling. When they finally found a well, they couldn’t wait to drink it. One of them took out a beautiful carved ceramic cup, and the other took out an ordinary cup. Small steel cup. The former feels that he is really tasteful and proud, and his vanity is satisfied. The latter feels that he is vulgar and feels inferior. His shame makes him fall into unnecessary troubles. But they all forget that what they need is Water. Not a cup filled with water. [Thinking] Life is not for complaints and worries, nor for vanity and unnecessary possessions. Living happily and happiness depends on your personal mentality. See clearly what you want, and don’t let it happen. Unimportant things become a source of worry for us. [Prayer] Heavenly Father God, who enriches and provides us, thank you for giving us sweet rain to nourish the earth, and for giving us spiritual food halls to feed our spiritual lives. You also provide us with everything we need every day. Favor. Lord! Please give us a wise heart, knowing how to pursue the real needs of the soul instead of superficial glory. Please help us not to worry about unimportant things, and to look up to the Heavenly Father who loves us in everything. This prayer is to the Lord Jesus Christ name, amen!
