裏外一致—-哥林多後書8:21［我們留心行光明的事, 不但在主面前, 就在人面前, 也是這樣.］[故事］有一位從商的信徒, 熱心愛主, 他的店鋪二樓, 每星期都開放成為小組聚會的塲所. 某一個早晨, 當大伙都已到齊. 預備開始聚會時, 他在樓上呼喚他的工人”你把店裏的牛奶摻水了沒有？” 工人回答”摻了.” 商人又說”你有沒有把過期的米混在新米裏？” 工人說”混好了.” 商人滿意地說”好了, 快上來聚餐會吧！” [思考］信仰與生活本應是一致的. 世間沒有任何事情是神聖或世俗, 唯有心中的意念才會產生神聖和世俗之別. 思考一下, 我們的生活和信仰是一體兩面, 還是截然不同的表現？［禱告］親愛的天父, 感謝祢豐盛的恩典, 賜給我們新生得救的生命, 我們也理應活出新生的様式. 我們知道自己的軟弱, 很多時候立志行善由得我們, 但行出來卻由不得我們. 求聖靈光照我們, 言行要與得救的恩相稱. 無論是在祢面前或人面前, 凡事都榮耀祢的聖名. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 阿們！
Consistency inside and out – 2 Corinthians 8:21 [Let us take care to do what is light, not only before the Lord but also before men.] [Story] There was a believer who was a businessman and loved the Lord zealously. The second floor of his shop was open every week as a place for group meetings. One morning, when everyone had arrived and was about to start the meeting, he called to his workers upstairs, “Mix the milk in the shop with water.” Have you mixed it?” The worker replied, “It’s mixed.” The businessman asked, “Have you mixed the expired rice with the new rice?” The worker said, “It’s mixed.” The businessman said with satisfaction, “Okay, come up to the dinner party!” [Thinking] Faith and life should be consistent. Nothing in the world is sacred or secular. Only the thoughts in the heart can make the difference between sacred and secular. Think about it, are our life and faith two sides of the same thing, or are they completely different? Performance? [Prayer] Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your abundant grace, giving us a new life of salvation. We should also live out a new life. We know our own weakness. Many times we can decide to do good, but we cannot help doing it. We. Ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten us, so that our words and deeds will be worthy of the grace of salvation. Whether in front of you or in front of others, everything will glorify your holy name. This prayer is in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen!
