愛心完成使命—-歷代志下2:7［現在求你差一個巧匠來, 就是善用金, 銀, 銅, 鐵, 和紫色, 朱紅色, 藍色線, 並精於雕刻之工的巧匠.] [故事］有兩家工藝品店開在同一條街上. 一家的師傅十分年輕, 另一家則是一位年老的師傅. 年輕師傅為了想多賺一些錢, 於是拼命工作, 平均每個月都能交出一件作品, 由商人買走. 三個月後, 他已交出了三件作品, 賣的價錢也不錯. 然而老師傅連一件都還未作出. 於是他心裏開始暗暗嘲笑那位老師傅. 半年後, 他已賣出六件作品, 而老師傅也終於完成了一件, 被同一位商人買走. 年輕人非常好奇, 於是去問商人”你買走我六件作品, 卻只買了他一件, 可不可以告訴我你付給他多少錢？” “ 一百萬元！” 商人回答. “天啊！比我六件還多的多. 為什麼？” 年輕師傅大惑不解. “因為你的作品, 我是按雕刻品來收購, 他的作品, 我是按藝術品來收購.” [思考］你是工匠還是藝術家？工匠只把工作當作糊口的職業, 藝術家卻將它當作偉大的事業來經營. 我們是為事奉而事奉, 還是為著愛來完成上帝托付的使命？［禱告］親愛的天父上帝, 祢揀選我們成為祢的兒女, 也賜給我們每個人有不同的恩賜, 能夠在各方面配搭事奉祢, 建立教會, 傳播福音, 讓多人來歸向祢. 求主潔淨我們, 塑造我們成為祢合用的器皿, 成為有愛心的工匠, 或成為藝術家. 幫助我們能夠盡心, 盡性, 盡意和盡力的愛祢, 事奉祢, 使我們所做的, 得蒙上帝的喜悅. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 阿們！
