擁有基督的八種基因—-彼得後書1:5-8［你們要分外地殷勤. 有了信心, 又要加上德行; 有了德行, 又要加上知識; 有了知識, 又要加上節制；有了節制, 又要加上忍耐; 有了忍耐, 又要加上虔敬；有了虔敬, 又要加上愛弟兄的心；有了愛弟兄的心, 又要加上愛眾人的心. 你們若充充足足地有這種幾樣, 就必須使你們在認識我們的主耶穌基督上, 不至於閒懶不結果子了.] ［釋義］在行走真道上, 只是有聰明, 有知識是不夠的, 還需要多方面的裝備和操練, 就能有豐盛的生命, 為主多結果子. 聖經的先後順序是信, 行, 知；與一般世人的教訓, 知而後信及知易行難剛好相反, 是信而後行且知難行易.［禱告］親愛的天父上帝, 感謝祢將天上各様屬靈的福氣, 一切的好處都𧶽給我們, 我們也需要主在我們的生命中, 帶領我們不單只是重生得救, 靈命也要不斷的成長成熟. 求主幫助我們在生活中學習和操練各樣的美德, 使我們靈命成長, 活出美好的見證, 在事奉上結出美好的果子, 领人歸主, 榮耀主名. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 阿們！
Possessing Christ’s Eight Traits — 2 Peter 1:5-8 [For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.] [Explanation] Walking in the truth requires more than just intelligence and knowledge; it also involves equipping ourselves with virtues and consistent practice. This leads to a fruitful and abundant life in Christ. The Bible emphasizes a sequence of faith, actions, and then understanding. This order contrasts with the world’s philosophy of seeking knowledge first, followed by belief and struggling to act. Faith in Christ empowers us to act, making obedience easier. [Prayer] Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for blessing us with every spiritual blessing and for all the good things You have bestowed upon us. We seek Your guidance in our lives so that we not only experience rebirth and salvation but also grow and mature spiritually. Help us to practice and cultivate virtues in our daily lives, allowing our spiritual lives to flourish. May we bear good fruit in service, lead others to You, and glorify Your name. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen!
