彼此相愛—-約翰福音13:34-35［我賜給你們一條新命令, 乃是叫你們彼此相愛; 我怎樣愛你們, 你們也要怎樣相愛. 你們若有彼此相愛的心, 眾人因此就認出你們是我的門徒了.］利未記19:18［不可報仇, 也不可埋怨本國的子民, 卻要愛人如己. 我是耶和華.］［釋義］耶穌將舊約的”愛人如己”昇華到新約的”彼此相愛”. 這是一條新誡命. 用舊瓶裝新酒. 所以新是因為有A. 新範圍：”你們彼此” 指新約的信徒. B. 新源頭: “我怎樣愛” 指主的愛. C. 新程度：”你們也要怎樣相愛” 指像主的愛一様. D. 新效果：”眾人因此就認出你們是我的門徒了” 指彼此相愛是新約信徒的標配. 我們對信徒的愛, 不是以人的愛來愛, 乃是以基督的愛來愛. 人的愛只能愛他所認為可愛的人. 人的愛只能愛那些愛他的人, 但是基督的愛是廣大的無邊的, 馬太福音5:44［要愛你們的仇敵, 為那些逼迫你們的禱告.］［禱告］親愛的主耶穌, 雖然我們每一個人都不一樣, 但祢對我們的愛卻是一樣的. 祢從來都不偏心, 所以祢也要我們彼此相愛, 好像祢愛我們一様. 求主幫助我們也要彼此關懷照顧, 以行動實踐相愛的心. 我們若有彼此相愛的心, 眾人就認出我們是祢的門徒了, 我們這樣行也是榮耀主的名. 禱告是奉主耶穌基督的名, 阿們！
John 13:34-35 [A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this, everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.] Leviticus 19:18 [Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.] [Explanation] Jesus elevated the Old Testament’s “love your neighbor as yourself” to the New Testament’s “love one another.” This is a new commandment. It is like putting new wine into old wineskins. The “newness” of this commandment lies in several aspects: A. A New Scope: “Love one another” specifically refers to New Testament believers. B. A New Source: “As I have loved you” sets the example of Christ’s love as the standard. C. A New Degree: “So you must love one another” challenges believers to love as Christ does. D. A New Impact: “By this, everyone will know that you are my disciples” highlights that mutual love is the distinguishing mark of New Testament believers. Our love for one another is not based on human affection but on Christ’s love. Human love is limited to those we find lovable or to those who love us first. However, Christ’s love is boundless and extends even to enemies. Matthew 5:44 [Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.] [Prayer] Dear Lord Jesus, though we are all different, Your love for each of us is the same. You are never partial, and You call us to love one another just as You love us. Lord, help us to care for and support one another, putting love into action. If we truly love one another, the world will know we are Your disciples, and this will glorify Your name. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
